Undated, Watercolour, 10"x14"

The signal box stood at Lemington beside the railway line from Newcastle to North Wylam, opposite Johnny’s Bridge and close to the Pit Rows which stood in the shadow of the Percy Pit heap. Closed to passenger traffic in 1968, the signal box is now long gone and the railway line now a footpath & cycleway.
